Onion and Pumpkin Long Sauté
Cleansing / All Seasons / David Clark / Serves: 4


3 cups onions, chopped into half moons
2 cups pumpkin, peeled and chopped into chunks
1 tablespoon corn oil
1 tablespoon shoyu




Notes:

The combination of onions and pumpkin cooked in this way is traditionally used to revitalise the immune system.

Sauté onions in corn oil for 5 minutes or until transparent.
Add pumpkin and 1 cup of water to prevent burning.
Place lid on frying pan and cook on a low heat for 1 hour.
Add shoyu and serve.
